MealSq is all about bringing local independents together to combine their talents and offer truly unique events.
For MealSq Menywod the Pantry and Hang Fire are gathering international women living in Cardiff, to bring together a special feast. The theme ‘cooking from our heartland’. With the focus on female talent:
Hang Fire- bringing Deep South BBQ to Wales, driven by soul and passion. They will be doing their BBQ thang with a Welsh twist.
Penylan Pantry, showcases the best of local and British produce, in a sustainable and ethical cafe & deli.
Ericka Duffy, a world renowned, phenomenal drinks expert. Works in taste, sensory events, scents and perfume.
Lias Kitchen, Lia is inspired by her homeland Greece, cooking up recipes using Welsh produce.
Brød, Betina opened Brød to bring a little taste of Denmark to Cardiff.
All of this enjoyed whilst listening to a soundtrack played live by Ashli from Spillers. Ashli owns and runs the oldest record store in the world.
The evening will showcase the talents and passions of all these amazing women, who are giving up their time to put on this special event, in a bid to raise money for Action Against Hunger.
Throughout the evening you will feast on many vibrant courses, and immersed in music from Spillers. Your feast will include both meat, fish and vegetarian courses, plus baked goods with wheat.
Venue – Waterloo Tea, Wyndham arcade, Cardiff. Please note….Acess to the arcade is via the Hayes/Bills entrance only.

This is a not for profit event, raising funds for Action Against Hunger. There will be a raffle on the night, with a chance to win some very impressive prizes. Our friends have donated kindly.
£48 per person- Ticket price includes many courses, drinks pairings, live music from Spillers and a donation to Action Against Hunger.
